Campground Rules

1. As a courtesy to your neighbors and for the pleasure of all campers, please turn down all radios, TV’s, etc. at 10:00 pm. Use your inside voices.

2. Overnight camping is limited to registered campers and guests only. Please introduce your quests so they will not be mistakenly asked to leave after hours.

3. Minors cannot camp alone. An adult must accompany all campers under 18 years of age. Parents shall watch children while swimming or other risky activities.

4. All state laws apply within the confines of the park. State law requires that all golf carts be registered. Only licensed drivers are allowed to drive on public roads.

5. We are pet friendly to friendly pets. Pets must be on leashes and quiet at ALL times. Please clean up after your pet.

6. No fireworks in the park. No tolerance.

7. Firearms, BB guns, or other potentially lethal devices are not permitted in the park. Hunting weapons must be secured while in season.

8. Public displays of open alcoholic containers and public intoxication is unacceptable in a family park.

9. The park must be kept clean. We provide a dumpster for our campers. Do NOT burn trash in your fire pits.

10. The park is not responsible for items lost, stolen, or left unsecured. Please secure your valuables.

11. Rowdiness, disorderly conduct, disturbances, or violation of park rules may be cause for ejection. You are responsible for your guests.

Free firewood for our campers. Please ask at the store where the firewood is located.

We have showers available for our campers. They are located in the white building behind/across from the store.

We have public restrooms available. They are located in the white building behind/across from the store.

We have a laundry with 2 washers ($2.50 per load) and 2 dryers ($2.50 per load). Our machines only take quarters and we sell quarters in our store. The laundry is located in the white building behind/across from the store.

We do not have sites for tent camping. A tent is allowed on a site with a camper.

We are very dog friendly. All dogs must be on a leash at all times and owners must pick up after their dogs. Dogs are allowed in the store, and we may even have a treat available. We currently have Dogsters ice cream for sale in the store.

Golf carts are allowed, and even recommended. Some of the roads in the campground are county roads, therefore, all golf cart drivers must have a valid driver's license.

There is a book lending library in our laundry room. Take a book - leave a book.

We do not have a pool - we do have a lake.

Many of our long term campers choose to have an awning installed over their camper/site and a porch built. If you choose to do this, please contact the store before having anything installed. When you leave the campground, anything you have added must leave with you.

We have a "move down list". When a camper on a water front site or with an otherwise more desirable site leaves, we contact those on the "move down list". This is done by seniority - the camper who has been here the longest and has requested to be on the list gets first dibs on the more desirable site.

We are happy to help our campers in any way that we possibly can. If you need anything during store hours, please go to or call the store. If you have an emergency during non-store hours, please call the store number, the phone is always forwarded to a real person when the store is closed.

Our pavilion is available for the use of our campers. Please contact the store to reserve it.

Store hours vary by season. but our store is open every day (excluding Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Years Day). During the off season the person working the store may also be working in the campground. If nobody is at the store, call 864-998-4292 and they will be right there.

We have a boat yard for our campers to store their boats/trailers at no charge. Non-campers may use this storage area for $25 per month.

We run a background check on all of our campers. We do not accept anyone who is on the sex offender registry, convicted thieves, or convicted drug dealers. This is a family campground and we wish to keep it safe for the children and for our adult campers.
